Founder Backgrounds
Our two co-founders, Paul Wright and Neal Ysart, offer over 80 years of combined professional experience. Their careers span law enforcement, cyber investigations, open source intelligence, risk management, and strategic advisory roles across multiple continents.
They have been instrumental in setting formative legal precedents and stated cases in cyber crime investigations, as well as contributing to the development of globally accepted guidance and standards for handling digital evidence.
Their leadership and expertise form the foundation of the Coalition’s commitment to excellence and ethical practice.
Alongside them, Lajos Antal, a founding member of our Boiler Room Investment Fraud Practice, brings deep expertise in cybercrime investigations, digital forensics and cyber response, further strengthening our team’s capabilities and reach.

Paul is an expert in Cybercrime, Digital Forensics & Complex Investigations
With over 20 years of experience, he is a recognised authority in cybercrime, digital forensics, and investigating serious and complex offences. He has led high-impact cases across sectors, combining deep technical expertise with strategic insight.
Paul is the Founder of eCrime Intelligence, a global OSINT and digital forensics firm, and the Co-Founder of The Coalition of Cyber Investigators, originally established as an international think tank that advances cyber investigations and intelligence research.
An expert witness, having given evidence globally in formal proceedings and a trusted advisor, Paul is known for his innovation in OSINT and HUMINT, training leadership, and ability to drive results in high-risk, high-stakes environments.
Lajos is a Founding Member of the Coalition of Cyber Investigators' Boiler Room Investment Fraud practice, with almost 30 years experience in cyber forensics, investigations and cybercrime. He is a former Big Four Cyber and Forensics consultant and leader.
Lajos has led a vast number of cyber security, cybercrime and forensic cases for clients across Europe.
For 14 years he led the Central Europe Cyber Security practice of Deloitte. He used to be hands-on ethical hacker and still is a practicing cyber forensic examiner and investigator.
Lajos is Co-founder of Raven Forensic Technologies, based in Hungary – an Advisory firm, focusing on cyber incident response, forensics and investigations.
He is a lecturer in the University of Public Affairs in Budapest and holds a BSc in Physics and Computer Science.
Neal is the Co-founder of the Coalition of Cyber Investigators and brings over 40 years of global leadership experience in investigations, cybercrime and OSINT. A former Scotland Yard Police Officer, Neal pioneered internet investigations and was responsible for a number of legal precedents and stated cases in the field.
After leaving the Police, his diverse private sector career includes roles as Lead Regulatory and Investigations Advisor at a global law firm, leading a team of over 140 due diligence investigators for a global bank and leadership positions in the Forensic practices of three of the Big Four accounting firms, including Deloitte's Forensic practice in the Philippines.
He is also the Founder of MacNeal-LCB & Partners Inc. – an Investigations and Strategic Risk Advisory firm based in the Philippines and operating across SE Asia.
Neal has a Masters Degree in Risk, Crisis & Disaster Management, is qualified to Masters level in Forensic Computing, holds an Advanced Certificate in Terrorism Studies from the University of St. Andrews and is a Professor of Praxis at the Philippines Public Safety College.
